Founded in 1993 in Trabzon, Türkiye, TISAS was established as part of the Eastern Black Sea Weapon Project and has grown into one of the world's leading firearms manufacturers. Today, the company operates from a modern production facility spanning more than 11,800 square meters and employs over 400 highly skilled professionals dedicated to engineering, manufacturing, and quality control.

Through strategic partnerships and contractual manufacturing agreements, TISAS also supports joint-production programs in select international markets, further expanding its reputation for quality and manufacturing excellence. The company's annual production capacity exceeds 200,000 pistols and 20,000 infantry rifles, demonstrating both the scale and capability required to meet the demands of military, commercial, and professional users worldwide.

To better serve the American firearms market, Tisas USA was established in Buford, Georgia as the official U.S. headquarters.
